The SysMO-DB team

The team is made up of two institutes, three academic investigators and three people actually doing the delivery. So that is not many! That is why we need to be smart about leveraging the resources already developed by the projects, and using the people developing those resources to our, and everyone elses, advantage.

The delivery team are:

Katy Wolstencroft who is a bioinformatician from the myGrid team at Manchester, who will drive the engagement with our pals, help develop workflows, metadata, interfaces and training

Stuart Owen who is a software engineer and architect from the myGrid team at Manchester, who will do the overall SysMO-DB e-laboratory architecture, the SysMO-HUB, SysMO-SEEK search, web service interfaces and APIs and extend Taverna as and when necessary.

Olga Krebs who is a database software engineer and developer at HITS in Heidelberg who will lead on the metadata design of SysMO-SEEK, SysMO-JERM and the database solutions.
