-It **will not hold results**. It is a directory to where the results can be found and what the SysMO consortium members are investigating. +It can also hold results via a direct upload. It is a directory to where the results can be found and what the SysMO consortium members are investigating.
Groups will be able to store and search for information about the data that they have generated or accumulated. Data access policies will govern how this can be viewed (or not, i.e. restrictions) by other SysMO partners. We will develop programs to facilitate the tagging of the information about data available (incorporation of data into the registry). This will combine the definition of the fields included in the registry with controlled vocabularies, which will be built on an on-demand basis. SysMO-SEEK will also have a Web Service Access Interface so it can be queried and updated through the SysMO-HUB portal, by workflows, by metadata tagging tools and by other applications held by the consortium members.
