SulfoSys

SylfoSys is the only project in SYSMO that focuses on Archaea - more specifically on Sulfolobus solfataricus. The aim of the project is to investigate the changes and regulation of the Central Carbon Metabolism (CCM) in different temperature values. As far as the wet biology goes, we are concerned about obtaining the whole set of the -omics data (proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics). Combined with enzyme essays we can - instead of usual drawing the conclusions part - use this data to get models of the CCM behaviour in temperature range and subsequently draw the conclusions.
